Kerry’s Knee Replacement in Orlando Florida
Getting it right after a knee replacement in Orlando and a stalled recovery. Kerry’s path led him to a Knee Manipulation (listen to our interview above) and the X10 Knee Recovery System™.
An Interview with Kerry Lowry
We present an inspiring interview with Kerry Lowry (push the Play button above to listen). Kerry was a baseball umpire for a long time, working for years in the United States and in South America. He found a second career with the TSA at Orlando International Airport where he works today. It is a job that Kerry truly loves. Along the way Kerry’s knees finally became a problem and in late 2018 he went ahead with a right total knee replacement in Orlando.
The timing, as it turns out, could have been better.
Government Shutdown… No Physical Therapy
From Dec 22, 2018 – Jan 25, 2019 Kerry had to make the choice between “putting food on the table and physical therapy” due to the shutdown. It was a challenging time which was compounded by his incomplete knee surgery recovery. His recovery had stalled. Somewhat inevitably Kerry needed to turn to other means to get well, to no avail. Four months after his total knee replacement (11-19-18) Kerry went through the Manipulation Under Anesthesia (3-28-19). He chose the X10 for his recovery afterwards.
“Are you on the machine?”
As you will hear in the interview the refrain in the Lowry household became “are you on the machine?” Kerry devoted himself to his recovery. The results came steadily, but Kerry really had to apply himself all the same. As the weeks went by he found the success he was looking for. Kerry returned full time to the TSA job that he loves so much.
As with so many of our patients, Kerry has become part of our X10 family. We are thankful for Kerry’s hard work in making his knee replacement in Orlando Florida a big success… finally.
