Pump Test on X10

Pump Test on X10 prepares your whole leg for all movements in which the knee goes from bending to straightening: squatting, sit to stand, and going up stairs.

For runners this exercise replicates a portion of your running motion and improves forward propulsion.

Purpose and Function

Muscles worked: Gluteus maximus, quadriceps, hamstrings, gastrocnemius, and soleus  

This amazing exercise strengthens the whole leg!

 

How to Run the Program

  1. Press “Dynamic Strength” button.
  2. Press “Start Pump Test”.
  3. Place ankle between rollers, other foot planted on the stool.
  4. Push your foot down into the footplate, pause; release slowly back to start.
    1. Note:  Don’t lift your hip!
  5. Press “Push to start timing”.
  6. Continue pressing and releasing throughout the 30 sec.
  7. Record the 3 #s:  Power Score / Reps / Best Pump shown after 30 sec.
