Pump Test on X10 prepares your whole leg for all movements in which the knee goes from bending to straightening: squatting, sit to stand, and going up stairs.
For runners this exercise replicates a portion of your running motion and improves forward propulsion.

Purpose and Function
Muscles worked: Gluteus maximus, quadriceps, hamstrings, gastrocnemius, and soleus
This amazing exercise strengthens the whole leg!
How to Run the Program
- Press “Dynamic Strength” button.
- Press “Start Pump Test”.
- Place ankle between rollers, other foot planted on the stool.
- Push your foot down into the footplate, pause; release slowly back to start.
- Note: Don’t lift your hip!
- Press “Push to start timing”.
- Continue pressing and releasing throughout the 30 sec.
- Record the 3 #s: Power Score / Reps / Best Pump shown after 30 sec.
