Jeanie Skips the Manipulation Under Anesthesia
PARKERSBURG, West Virginia — After all the rehab at home and in the clinic the last thing Jeanie wanted was to start all over again. A Manipulation Under Anesthesia is considered, by many, to be a failed knee recovery. This has little to do with the patient’s effort in most cases. In fact there is a somewhat long list of factors that suggest that a person might have a tougher time of it when it comes to recovery.
Whatever the reason, Jeanie was behind at week six, in need of some extra help or her surgeon was going to go forward with the MUA. She found X10 online, made the call, has never looked back. Two weeks and done. Two weeks and safe. Two weeks and on to the business of enjoying the lovely late summer and early fall in West Virginia.
At X10 we receive a high volume of calls every day from people like Jeanie. If we have an X10 in the region of the county where the patient is we do everything we can do get it in the patient’s home as soon as possible. Fighting an MUA is a bit of a race against time. We want to get our program going before time gets ahead of us.
Jeanie was a very compliant patient… she put her time in, enjoyed the therapy, made steady progress… and made her coach, Lisa, very proud.
