Jeffrey H. DeClaire, M.D. is a board certified and fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. DeClaire has practiced orthopaedic surgery in Rochester, Michigan for more than 20 years. He is the Co-Founder and President of the DeClaire LaMacchia Orthopaedic Institute. Dr. DeClaire specializes in the treatment of disorders and injuries of the knee.
Dr. Jospeh Salama is an orthopedic surgeon with special interest in total-joint replacement as well as industrial-related injuries. He has been in private practice in the Detroit metropolitan area since 1980. His association with Birmingham Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine began in 2000. Dr. Salama is an active participant in the Orthopaedic Residency Training Program of Wayne State University.
Mark Karadsheh, M.D. (pronounced “Karachi”) is a staff orthopaedic surgeon at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and Troy, Michigan that specializes in minimally invasive joint replacements of the hip and knee, as well as complex revisions of previous hip and knee replacements.
Dr. Mark Kwartowitz received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his doctor of osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Meredith C. Heisey practices general orthopedics. Her areas of interest include sports medicine, arthroscopic and reconstructive knee, shoulder, elbow surgery, hip arthroscopy and care of the female athlete.
Richard H. Rothman, M.D., Ph.D. received his Ph.D. Degree in Anatomy at Thomas Jefferson University in 1965. He has practiced Orthopaedic Surgery in Philadelphia since that time founding the Rothman Institute, which is one of the country’s largest academic orthopaedic departments and serves as Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Medical School.
Dr. Robert Ference, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He attended Wayne State University School of Medicine, and specializes in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine with the DMC Medical Group. He performs surgery at Huron Valley Hospital, St. Mary's in Livonia, Michigan and at Sinai-Grace Hospital.
Dr. Meisel is a native of Mt. Clemens, practicing in Macomb County for over 14 years. He treats a multitude of general orthopedic conditions. He specializes in hip and knee joint replacements, arthroscopic (minimally invasive) procedures of shoulder and knee, along with hand and foot surgeries.
